Cygnet 33

Cygnet 33

Description

The Cygnet 33 (also known as the CSY Cygnet 33 or CSY 33 under a later marketing name) is a compact bluewater-capable cutter from the late 1970s. It is essentially the same hull as the CSY 33 (Caribbean Sailing Yachts), with a lower coachroof profile compared to the earlier Carib 33 on which it was based. The name "Cygnet" was used briefly by CSY (Caribbean Sailing Yachts) as an economy or variant branding line (e.g., for the Cygnet 44 as well), but the 33-foot model is the most referenced under this name in sailboat databases. It's a heavy, solid fiberglass cruiser built for reliability in charter and offshore use, with excellent stability, spacious accommodations for its size, and a cutter rig for versatile, shorthanded sailing.
