Ct - 44 (44 Ph)

Description

The CT 44 (Pilot House), also known as the Ta Chiao CT 44 PH or Tanton 44 Pilot House, is a classic Taiwanese heavy-displacement cruising sailboat designed by Yves-Marie Tanton and introduced in 1982 by Ta Chiao Enterprises in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Production ran until around 1989, with approximately 20–30 units built, many customized for blue water voyages. It shares the hull with the Offshore 43 (cat-ketch rig) and Tanton 43, featuring a full keel for seaworthiness, cutter rig for balanced short-handed sailing, and a distinctive pilot house for all-weather protection.
