Cs 36 Traditional
Description
The CS 36 Traditional, designed by Raymond Wall and built by CS Yachts in Canada from 1978 to 1985 with approximately 150 hulls produced, is a revered 36-foot bluewater cruiser featuring an 11.58-foot beam, 28.5-foot waterline, and a 6.25-foot fin keel (or optional 4.83-foot shoal) carrying 6,500 pounds of lead ballast in a 15,200-pound displacement for solid stability, a comfort ratio of 28–32, and a capsize screening value under 1.90. Its masthead sloop rig delivers 636 square feet of sail area for a balanced SA/D of ~17.0 and PHRF ratings around 138–150, blending spirited coastal performance with proven offshore manners.
