Crealock 37 Ketch
Description
The Crealock 37 Ketch, also known as the Pacific Seacraft 37 Ketch or "Creala," is a premier American blue water cruiser designed by William I. B. Crealock, introduced in 1978. Built by Pacific Seacraft Corporation in Washington, North Carolina, from 1978 to 1999 (with limited production into 2002–2008), approximately 200 Crealock 37s were produced, with the ketch rig being less common than the cutter or sloop variants (estimated ~20–30% of total production). Renowned for its rugged fiberglass construction (ABS-certified), canoe stern, and offshore pedigree, it’s built for long passages (e.g., Pacific, Atlantic, and circumnavigations) with a cozy, teak-heavy interior for liveaboard comfort. The ketch rig enhances sail balance for short-handed ocean sailing.
