Description
The Contest 25, built by Contest Yachts (Conyplex) in the Netherlands, is a classic fiberglass monohull sailboat designed by G. Luyten and introduced in 1959. As the first cruising yacht from Conyplex, it marked the beginning of the company's reputation for high-quality, seaworthy cruising boats. The Contest 25 was produced in two versions: the Contest 25-1 (1959–1969) and the Contest 25-2 (1969–1980), with a total of approximately 413 boats built (300 for the 25-1 and 113 for the 25-2).
