Contest 30-1

Description

The Contest 30 Mk I, built by Contest Yachts (Conyplex) in Medemblik, Netherlands, is a classic fiberglass monohull sailboat designed by Dick Zaal and produced between 1968 and 1971. Known for its robust construction, moderate performance, and suitability for coastal cruising with some offshore capability, it was one of Conyplex’s early models, preceding the later Contest 30 (1974–1978). Approximately 80 units of the Contest 30 (including both Mk I and later versions) were built, with the Mk I being the earlier, rarer variant.
