Columbia 45 Ketch

Description

The Columbia 45 Ketch, designed by acclaimed naval architect William H. Tripp Jr., was produced by Columbia Yachts from 1971 to 1976 as a ketch-rigged variant of the popular Columbia 45 line (total ~180 hulls across configurations). This masthead ketch excels as a spacious bluewater cruiser with offshore racing roots, offering a fin keel for performance, skeg-hung rudder for protection, and a roomy teak interior sleeping 6–7—prized today for its balance of speed, stability, and liveaboard comfort in a robust fiberglass package.
