Description
The Columbia 36 Mk II, designed by renowned naval architect William Crealock, was produced by Columbia Yachts from 1970 to 1972 as an updated variant of the original Columbia 36 (limited run as an evolution of the original's 400+ hulls; exact Mk II numbers unspecified but estimated at 50–100 based on model rarity). This masthead sloop refines the classic design with a slightly longer hull, shallower draft for better coastal access, and enhanced tankage for extended cruising—delivering balanced performance, stability, and a comfortable interior sleeping 5–6, making it a sought-after vintage bluewater starter.
