CL Echo
Description
The CL Echo (commonly called the CL Echo 12 or Echo 12) is a compact Canadian fiberglass sailing dinghy designed for recreational use, training, and versatility. It's produced by C&L Boatworks (also known as CL Sailboats) in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. Introduced in 1979 (with production continuing today), the design originated as a development of the West German Koralle Junior and was acquired by C&L in 1982 from Skene Boats of Ottawa. It's widely used for beginner instruction, youth programs, sailing schools, cadet training (including Canadian Navy programs), and family daysailing.
