Chris Craft 26
Description
The Chris-Craft Capri 26 is a classic fiberglass sailboat produced by the renowned American boat manufacturer Chris-Craft during their brief foray into sailboat production in the mid-1960s. Designed by the prestigious Sparkman & Stephens firm (S&S design #1771.1), it was the third sailing yacht from Chris-Craft, a company primarily famous for its luxurious wooden powerboats like runabouts and cruisers since 1874. Built at their Algonac, Michigan facility, the Capri 26 was introduced around 1965 and produced for only about three years, making it a relatively rare model today. Despite the short production run, it became one of Chris-Craft's most popular sailboats, appealing to families and coastal cruisers for its balance of performance, comfort, and build quality.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
