Description

The Challenger 35 is a 35-foot performance cruiser-racer sailboat designed by Alex McGruer and built by Grampian Marine in Canada from 1973 to 1978, with approximately 50 hulls produced; featuring a sleek fiberglass hull with a deep fin keel (5.75 ft draft), spade rudder, and masthead sloop rig, it measures 35 feet LOA, 26.5 feet LWL, and a 10.5-foot beam, displacing 11,500 pounds with 4,800 pounds of lead ballast for excellent stability and a capsize screening value under 1.9, making it bluewater-capable.
