Centurion 42
Description
The Wauquiez Centurion 42 is a classic French performance cruiser from the renowned Centurion series by Chantiers Henri Wauquiez. Designed by naval architect Ed Dubois, it was built between approximately 1985 and 1990, with a limited production run (similar to other classic Centurions, likely under 50 units total, making it relatively rare). This model offers an excellent blend of speed, seaworthiness, and comfort — a true cruiser-racer capable of offshore passages, short-handed sailing, or competitive club racing, with the overbuilt quality typical of 1980s Wauquiez yachts.
