C&C Custom 37r
Description
The C&C Custom 37R is a high-performance racing sailboat designed by Robert W. Ball and built by C&C Yachts in Canada from 1988 to 1994. Part of the C&C 37/40 series, it’s a lightweight, racing-oriented version of the 37/40+ and 37/40XL, with a focus on speed and agility under IMS and PHRF handicapping rules. Over 110 C&C 37/40 boats (all variants) were built before production ended in 1994 when C&C’s Canadian plant closed. The 37R was a semi-custom model, with options for keels, rigs, and layups, making each boat slightly unique.
