Cape Dory 36
Description
The Cape Dory 36 is a modified version of the Alberg 37, which was designed in 1964 as a racing boat and is still in production in Canada. In order to make the 36 suitable for cruising, Alberg took the 37 and reduced the draft from 5'6" to 5'0", increased the beam from 10'2" to 10'8" (thereby making up for the stability lost in reducing the draft) and shortened the overhangs slightly.
