C&C Landfall 38

Description

The C&C Landfall 38 is a midsize sailboat designed by Robert W. Ball and built by C&C Yachts between 1979 and 1985. It is a monohull sailboat with a displacement of 16,700 lbs. and a draft of 5.00 ft (1.52 m). The boat features a masthead sloop rig, a raked stem, a raised and almost vertical transom, an internally mounted spade-type rudder, and a fixed fin keel. Crafted by C&C Yachts as a performance cruiser. Launched in 1979, it was developed from the C&C 38-2 hull but tailored for extended cruising with enhanced interior comfort and a shallower draft. Approximately 180 units were built before production ceased in the mid-1980s. The Landfall 38 balances the racing pedigree of its C&C 38 roots with practical cruising features, making it popular among couples and small families for coastal and moderate offshore voyages.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
