C&C 39 Tall Rig

Description

The C&C 39 Tall Rig is a sleek, performance-oriented racer-cruiser from C&C Yachts' heyday, introduced in 1973 as an evolution of their IOR-winning designs. Penned by the C&C team (led by George Cuthbertson), the "Tall" variant ups the ante with a stretched mast for superior light-air acceleration and upwind punch, making it a club racer's dream that doubles as a capable coastal cruiser. Only about 78 were built through 1978, blending classic lines with modern speed—think modest freeboard, long overhangs hiding a full hull shape.
