C&C 38 MK3 III
Description
The C&C 38 Mark III (also called the 38-3) is a performance cruiser from C&C Yachts' golden era, launched in 1985 as a modern evolution of their legendary 38-footer. Designed in-house by the C&C team, it shifts from pure IOR racing roots to a balanced racer-cruiser with a wider beam, deeper keel options, and cruiser-friendly layout—ideal for club races or coastal passages. Only about 50 were built through 1988 amid industry shifts, Variants include fin, shoal, wing, and centerboard keels for versatility.
