Description

The Cal 46 Mk III (also known as the Cal 3-46) is the third iteration of the Cal 46 series, designed by C. William Lapworth and built by Jensen Marine/Cal Boats Built from 1977 to 1978, with a limited run of 10–15 units, following the success of the Cal 2-46 (95 units) and the initial Cal 46 (18 units), from 1977 to 1978. This model refined the earlier Cal 46 and Cal 2-46 designs, focusing on improved interior layout and reduced maintenance issues, while retaining the series' reputation for blue water cruising and performance. Approximately 10–15 units were produced, making it a rare variant.
