Cal 43
Description
The Cal 43 is a fiberglass monohull sailboat designed by C. William Lapworth and produced by Jensen Marine/Cal Boats from 1970 to 1976. Known for its performance-oriented design with cruising amenities, it was built in two versions—43/70 (1970-1973) and 43/74 (1974-1976)—offering a blend of racing capability and offshore cruising potential. Approximately 65 units were constructed, making it a relatively rare model in the Cal fleet. The two versions reflect minor updates in hull shape and interior layout.
