Cal 3-25

Description

The Cal 3-25 (also known as the Cal 25 Mark III) is a classic American trailerable pocket cruiser and racer designed in-house by Cal Yacht Design as the final evolution of the popular Cal 25 series. Built by Cal Boats (Jensen Marine) from 1983 to 1989, approximately 100 hulls were produced. It refines the earlier marks with a slightly wider beam for stability, improved interior volume, and a fractional rig option on some for better performance, while retaining the lightweight fin keel with spade rudder for responsive handling and solid fiberglass construction for durability. Ideal for daysailing, club racing, or weekend overnights, it offers a lively ride in 8–18 knots and easy trailering (under 1,500 lbs dry)
