Description
The Cal 3-24 (also known as the Cal 24 Mark III) is a classic American trailerable pocket cruiser and racer designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates. Built by Cal Boats (Jensen Marine) from 1984 to 1985, approximately 50 hulls were produced as the final evolution of the Cal 24 series (total ~200 across marks). It refines earlier versions with a taller masthead sloop rig for better light-air performance, improved interior volume via a revised deckhouse, and solid hand-laid fiberglass construction for durability. Ideal for daysailing, club racing, or weekend overnights, it offers a lively ride in 8–18 knots and easy trailering (under 1,500 lbs dry.
