Cal 2-25
Description
The Cal 2-25 (also known as the Cal 25-2 or Cal 25 Mark II) is an American cruiser-racer sailboat designed by C. William "Bill" Lapworth and built by Cal Yachts (a division of Jensen Marine under Bangor Punta Corporation) from 1977 to 1983. Marketed to differentiate it from the unrelated original Cal 25 (1965–1976), this second-generation model addressed owner feedback by widening the beam, adding a trunk cabin for better headroom, and offering an inboard diesel option. Approximately 392 units were produced, making it less common than the original Cal 25's 1,848 hulls. A licensed version, the Martinique 25, was built in Brazil with a shoal draft.
