Buccaneer 320

Description

The Buccaneer 320 is a 32-foot coastal cruising sailboat built by Buccaneer Yachts (a division of Bayliner) in the mid-1970s, designed as a family cruiser with a focus on interior comfort and stability for weekend getaways or short passages. Featuring a center-cockpit layout and a wide beam for ample living space, it sleeps 6–7 and includes a practical U-shaped galley and enclosed head, making it suitable for inland lakes or protected bays. While not a high-performance racer, its moderate displacement and fin keel provide forgiving handling in light to moderate winds, though it's often critiqued for unconventional aesthetics ("high-sided like a layer cake") and production-oriented build quality from Bayliner's high-volume approach. Approximately 50–100 units were produced before the line's rebranding, with a similar Buccaneer 325 variant offering minor refinements.
