Bombardier 7.6
Description
The Bombardier 7.6 (also known as the Bombardier Holland 7.6) is a Canadian recreational keelboat designed by renowned naval architect Ron Holland and built by Bombardier Limited from 1980 to 1983. About 163 hulls were produced during this short run, making it a relatively rare vintage racer/cruiser today — now out of production but still sailed competitively in places like the Great Lakes. This 25-foot fractional sloop was built for performance-oriented day sailing, club racing, and occasional longer passages, with a lightweight, fast hull that emphasizes speed over heavy-weather comfort (it's classified as an "ultra-light racer" with a D/L ratio around 129). It's trailerable with some effort, has a fixed fin keel, and is known for responsive handling and good upwind ability.
