Beneteau R/C 42

Description

The Beneteau R/C 42 (Racer/Cruiser 42) is a performance-oriented masthead sloop designed by German Frers and built by Beneteau (USA) in 1983 as a limited-production cruiser-racer blending speed and seaworthiness for coastal racing or family cruising. With only about 10–20 units produced in its single year of manufacture, it's a rare gem from Beneteau's early U.S. expansion, emphasizing a fin keel for agility and a spacious teak interior for comfort. Influenced by IOR rules, it offers responsive handling in moderate winds while maintaining stability for short passages.
