Beneteau Oceanis 390

Description

The Oceanis 390 is a popular cruising sailboat produced by Beneteau, a leading French yacht builder. Designed by renowned naval architect Philippe Briand, it was part of the first-generation Oceanis line, emphasizing comfort, ease of handling, and spacious interiors for family cruising or charter use. Launched in 1987 and built until 1993, approximately 552 hulls were completed, making it one of Beneteau's successful early models. It's constructed with a fiberglass (GRP) hull and deck for lightweight performance and low maintenance, featuring a modern, rounded hull shape that prioritizes interior volume over ultimate blue water ruggedness. The boat is available in fin keel or wing keel configurations, with the fin keel offering better upwind performance and the wing keel providing shallower draft for coastal or shallow-water access.
