Beneteau Oceanis 381
Description
The Beneteau Oceanis 381 is a classic aft-cockpit cruiser designed by Berret-Racoupeau and built by Beneteau in France from 1996 to 2000. As part of the early Oceanis series, it was engineered for family cruising with a focus on spacious accommodations, easy handling, and balanced performance, drawing from the design DNA of the First line for responsive sailing. Over 400 units were produced, many as charter boats, making it a staple for coastal explorers or entry-level liveaboards. Variants include a deep-draft keel (up to 6.5 ft) for better upwind ability and 2- or 3-cabin layouts.
