Beneteau First 25

Description

The Beneteau First 25 is a modern, trailerable fractional sloop designed by Finot-Conq and built by Beneteau in Slovenia (via Seascape Yachts partnership) from 2013 to present. As a pocket performance boat in Beneteau's First line, it combines dinghy-like agility with cruiser comforts, optimized for solo, double-handed, or family racing/day sailing in coastal or protected waters. With ongoing production (over 200 units), it's praised for its lightweight carbon-reinforced hull, swing keel for beaching, and self-tacking jib for ease—owners call it a "thrilling yet forgiving" all-rounder, excelling in light winds and planing in breezes. Variants include a fixed keel (6'7" draft) for racing and basic vs. equipped packages.
