Beneteau First 210
Description
The Beneteau First 210 (also known as the First 210 Spirit in Europe) is a compact, trailerable sailboat designed by Groupe Finot (Jean-Marie Finot) and built by Beneteau from 1992 to around 1998, with nearly 900 units produced worldwide. It's part of the successful First 21 family, which includes evolutions like the First 211 (1998 update with refinements such as an anchor well and improved interior) and later the First 21.7. This "pocket cruiser-racer" blends dinghy-like agility with family cruising comfort, earning praise as an ideal entry-level boat for dinghy sailors transitioning to keelboats or for weekend getaways. Naval architect Bob Perry described it as a "standout" for its innovative design, sparkling performance, and eye appeal, noting its suitability as a daysailer or "camp-style cruiser." It's unsinkable due to closed-cell foam flotation and excels in shallow waters or trailering to regattas. LWL : 19' 8". Beam : 8' 2". Mast length (over water) : 34' 1". Draft (keel up) : 2' 4". Draft (keel down) : 5' 10". Ballast : 770 lbs. Displacement : 2,420 lbs.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
