Description
The Beneteau Oceanis 393 is a versatile aft-cockpit cruiser designed by Berret-Racoupeau and built by Beneteau in France from 2002 to 2006. As a mid-size evolution in the Oceanis line, it prioritizes family comfort and coastal cruising with a wide beam for stability, a bulb keel for forgiving handling, and a masthead sloop rig for straightforward sailing. Over 600 units were produced, many in charter fleets, earning praise as a "groundbreaking design" for its voluminous interior and balanced performance—owners describe it as a "powerful passagemaker" that's easy short-handed and ideal for extended weekends or island-hopping.
