Beneteau 345

Description

The Beneteau First 345 is a classic masthead sloop designed by Jean Berret and built by Beneteau in France from 1983 to 1988. As a versatile performer in Beneteau's First line, it was optimized for club racing and coastal cruising, blending IOR-inspired speed with practical family accommodations in a lightweight fiberglass hull. Approximately 200 units were produced, many still competing in PHRF fleets or serving as capable weekenders. Variants include a shoal-draft keel (4.43 ft) for shallower waters and 2- or 3-cabin layouts. Owners praise its "roomy and responsive" qualities and solid build.
