Bayfield 25

Description

The Bayfield 25 is a Canadian pocket cruiser sailboat designed by naval architect Ted Gozzard and built by Bayfield Boat Yard Ltd. in Bayfield, Ontario, from 1975 to 1984. Approximately 400 hulls were produced during its run, making it a popular choice for its compact size and surprising livability. Originally marketed as the Bayfield 23/25, it evolved into the 25 model with minor updates like an additional portlight for better ventilation. The design features a full shoal-draft keel, a miniature bowsprit for a classic "shippy" look, and a cutter or sloop rig, emphasizing comfort and ease of handling for short-handed crews (2–4 people).
