Bauer 12

Description

The Bauer 12 is a versatile, high-quality fiberglass daysailer and yacht tender designed by Christof Bauer and built by Bauteck Marine Corporation since 1996, with approximately 100–150 units produced as of 2025. Featuring a fractional sloop rig with reefing main, retractable centerboard, beaching rudder, and high freeboard, it’s designed for stability, ease of handling, and multi-purpose use (sailing, rowing, motoring). Its wide beam and lightweight construction make it ideal for family day sailing, junior training, or serving as a tender for larger yachts.

Custom sail calculations are not possible for this boat as no I, J, P and E dimensions are available.
