Aries 32

Description

The Aries 32 is a robust fiberglass sailboat designed by Thomas Gillmer as a blue water cruiser, first built in wood in the USA around 1972 and later in fiberglass by C.C. Chen Boat Yard in Taiwan, with approximately 100–200 units produced through the 1980s. Sharing the same hull with the Roughwater 33, Weatherly 32, and Southern Cross 31, it features a full keel, double-ended hull, raked stem, and counter stern for exceptional seaworthiness and stability in heavy weather. Powered by an inboard diesel (typically Perkins 4-108, 40–50 hp), with wheel steering and optional bowsprit, it's optimized for long-range passages with a focus on safety and comfort.
