Apachie 37 By Chris Craft
Description
The Apache 37 is a classic fiberglass racer-cruiser sailboat designed by the renowned American naval architecture firm Sparkman & Stephens (with Arthur Edmunds as a key contributor) and built by Chris-Craft Industries in the United States during the mid-1960s. Introduced around 1966, this 37-foot monohull was conceived as a "gentleman's racer" under the Cruising Club of America (CCA) rule, blending competitive performance with cruising comfort for coastal or moderate offshore passages. It features a masthead sloop rig, a fixed fin keel for stability, and a low-freeboard hull with long overhangs and a racy sheer, reminiscent of classic CCA designs like the Cheoy Lee or Alberg 35. The boat accommodates 4–6 people with a V-berth, settees, and quarter berths, making it suitable for weekend overnights or club racing.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
