Aloha 8.5

Aloha 8.5

Description

The Aloha 8.5 M is a Canadian coastal cruiser-racer sailboat designed by Edward S. Brewer and Robert Walstrom, built by Ouyang Boat Works in Whitby, Ontario, from 1972 to approximately 1988. This masthead sloop combines a sleek, performance-oriented hull with a practical interior, making it ideal for family cruising, day sailing, and club racing in protected waters like the Great Lakes, Long Island Sound, or coastal bays. With a fin keel and spade rudder, it offers responsive handling and good speed for its size, though it's not a true blue water boat due to its moderate displacement and stability.
