Aloha 34 / 10.4
Description
The Aloha 34 (also known as the Aloha 10.4 in metric) is a Canadian cruising sailboat designed by Ted Brewer and Robert Walstrom, built by Ouyang Boat Works in Whitby, Ontario, from 1977 to approximately 1986. This masthead sloop combines a spacious interior with solid performance, making it suitable for coastal cruising, extended weekends, and occasional club racing in areas like the Great Lakes, Chesapeake Bay, or the Pacific Northwest. Featuring a fin keel and skeg-hung rudder, it offers a balance of stability and maneuverability, with a reputation for seaworthiness in moderate conditions. An estimated 150–200 units were produced, reflecting its popularity during the Canadian sailboat boom of the late 1970s to 1980s. LWL 28' 8"(8.74m). Beam 11' 2" (3.40m). Draft - Shoal 4' 8" (1.37m). Draft - Deep 5' 6" (1.68m). Displacement 13,600 lb. (6182 kg). Ballast 4,700 lb. (2136 kg).

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
