Albin 7.8 (Cirrus 7.8)
Description
The Albin 7.8, also known as the Albin Cirrus 7.8 or simply the Cirrus 7.8, is a classic Swedish fractional-rigged sloop sailboat designed as a versatile racer-cruiser for coastal and club racing. Created by renowned naval architect Peter Norlin, it was produced by Albin Marine in Kristinehamn, Sweden, from 1979 to 1984, with approximately 400 units built. This fin-keel model features a sleek, low-aspect hull for responsive handling and speed, making it popular for one-design racing in Scandinavia while offering enough interior space for weekend cruising.
