Acorn 15

Acorn 15

Description

The Acorn 15 is a lapstrake (clinker) skiff designed by Iain Oughtred, an Australian-born designer renowned for blending traditional aesthetics with modern construction techniques. Inspired by 19th-century Whitehall boats, it’s primarily a rowing skiff but can be fitted with a small sailing rig for auxiliary propulsion. Its sleek hull, fine lines, and wineglass transom make it exceptionally efficient under oars, with sailing as a secondary feature for light winds.
