24' Shore Liner

24' Shore Liner

Description

The Shore Liner is a flat-bottomed sloop designed for sailors who prioritize stability and comfort over pure speed. The Atkins created this design for an experienced sailor who understood the trade-offs of a shallow-draft configuration. Plans: Six-sheet set requiring lofting, available through Mystic Seaport Museum's Ships Plans Store (now houses the complete Atkin & Co. collection). Hull: Cedar planking with white oak cross-planked bottom. Plans also include plywood construction details for amateur builders.
